It's Official: Idol's Gina Glocksen Is Married!

American Idol star Gina Glocksen said, "I do," to her longtime boyfriend, school teacher Joe Ruzicka, on New Year's Eve, PEOPLE has confirmed.

The 24-year-old singer, who was a top 10 finalist during Idol's sixth season, exchanged vows with Ruzicka, 32, in a non-denominational ceremony at the Century Memorial Chapel at Naper Settlement in Naperville, Ill.

Glocksen's fellow season six contestants Haley Scarnato and Jordin Sparks were bridesmaids.

"Joe is my strength, my best friend," Glocksen gushed to PEOPLE.

The couple met in 2005 when she auditioned to sing with his cover band – and got the gig, of course!

Ruzicka proposed on Aug. 7, 2007 in front of a live audience at the Allstate Arena in Rosemont, Ill., where Glocksen and the other top 10 season six Idol contestants were performing.
